The Islands Insurance Group was established in 1978 to provide professional insurance underwriting, broking and financial advice of the highest standards. Since then we have grown consistently, partly through client recommendation and professional introduction and partly by planned acquisitions, but have never lost sight of our guiding principles.

The Group was acquired by the National Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Society Limited (NFU Mutual) in 1985 which gave extra momentum to its success & growth. The Group trading companies are M J Touzel (Insurance Brokers) Limited in Jersey (which started trading in the1960’s) and The Islands’ Insurance Brokers Limited in Guernsey & Alderney (commenced 1978). The Group now employs over 70 staff and operates from offices in Jersey, Guernsey & Alderney.

As one of the Channel Islands leading insurance broking and financial services organisations we serve a wide range of corporate businesses, including professional practices, financial institutions, and local companies as well as islanders. Our association with NFU Mutual in the UK offers access to a nationwide network of offices and experience.
